Don’t let your dash be silent.
I was reminded of story of a young girl whose mom named her LA – A.
A teacher was trying to determine how to pronounce her name and was totally wrong.
The young girl said, “It’s Luh [dash] uh. The dash ain’t silent.”
As we chuckle, this makes good sense.
At the end of our lives there will be written on our gravestone a dash: between our birth date and death date.
Don’t let your dash be silent. Life is too short to waste it. Live it.
